very true huh, aren't we all very fortunate? we get almost everything we ask for, whereas some people dont even have a decent meal.

extraordinarily, god put us all in singapore, where everything is good, no civil wars, no natural disasters, rarely any significant terrorist attacks, its all good.

yet we dont really seem to appreciate the things around us. honestly, do people even thank one another, when they buy gifts for each other? not because its a good gesture to practice, but do people really, honestly appreciate the other person's efforts, maybe just to raise your mood?

only if we knew how to appreciate, dont you agree that life would be alot easier? its a simple action. but who ever said simple actions would only bring about simple results? :)

and the most screwed up thing about that is that it's the people from developed countries saying that.

actually we're all pretty well off, and our lives are all in fact, extremely good.

how many of us would actually admit that to a certain extent, all of us are pampered and spoiled?

of course, I'm not stereotyping the definition of pampered and spoiled to be what we see in typical chick flicks, but instead the fact that we complain when the aircon's not on, or we're thirsty and the water cooler is 50m FAR away.

come on people, open your eyes and stop complaining about your teachers. I guess other than those FEW exceptions, all teachers have a heart too right? sometimes frankly we just cant see the big picture like our teachers. we complain when they're being demanding, when they're being fussy, when they threaten us with that special "green form."

you know what teachers are actually amazing?

teachers like mrs mak pak lum, ms ng kean nee,etc. haha okay im sure EVERYONE has been taught by mrs mak before. right?

and remember being like,"Omg this old lady is so childish with her games and we're TOO MATURE for her games."

then 2 years fly by, and you wish she would teach you again, deprived of her "interactive lessons"(which in a very weird way, is very effective!)

ms Ng is actually a very unique person, considering the fact that she is very easy to warm up too, then she starts screwing around with you, then we complain, and complain, and complain about how awful she can get.

then you change english class.

then somehow, although you're enjoying your current english class, you kinda miss ms ng and her silly phrases and MEGARANDOM videos and her constant," ill send you down for a cup of tea with mr chia" and what not.

come to think of it, they're actually very, very nice people!

why would people want to stop their life at this point, and decide what's going to happen in the near future, based on their poor foresight of the future, why not we live our lifes as it is now, and let the future settle its own?
